We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Leads Manager to join our team part-time, with the opportunity to grow within the role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, loves to stay organized, and has a talent for turning inquiries into meaningful connections.

As our Leads Manager, you will be directly responsible for growing our SLP Elevate membership and Speech Retreat Conference. Your goal will be to make connections with school districts, track and nurture leads, and brainstorm strategies to improve sales goals.

 

Compensation and Hours

  • Hourly Rate: $6.50/hour to start.
  • Hours: 15 hours per week, with potential for growth as the role evolves.
  • Bonuses: Opportunities for performance-based bonuses when sales goals are met.

Your Role at STF:

  • Seek School District Purchase Orders: Research, identify, and pursue opportunities to obtain purchase orders from school districts nationwide.
  • Nurture Contacts: Build and maintain relationships with school administrators, educators, and decision-makers through consistent communication.
  • Follow Up: Respond promptly to inquiries, track leads, and follow up to ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks.
    • This includes both email follow-up and phone call follow-up. 
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a structured process for tracking leads and contacts, ensuring follow-ups are timely and effective.
    • Update and maintain the data in Monday.com 
  • Leverage LinkedIn: Use LinkedIn and other professional networks to identify potential leads, engage with prospects, and expand Speech Time Fun’s reach.
  • Contribute to Growth: Collaborate with the team to share insights, improve processes, and brainstorm strategies to meet sales goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead Generation and Research

    • Identify potential school districts, administrators, and decision-makers who could benefit from Speech Time Fun’s resources.
    • Use tools like LinkedIn, professional networks, and other resources to research and gather contact information.
  • Outreach and Relationship Building

    • Initiate and maintain professional communication with prospective leads via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with educators and school district representatives.
  • Follow-Up and Lead Nurturing

    • Promptly respond to inquiries and track ongoing communications with potential clients.
    • Send timely follow-ups to ensure leads progress through the sales pipeline.
  • Sales Pipeline Management

    • Create and manage a structured system to track leads, contacts, and follow-ups.
    • Regularly update the status of leads and maintain detailed notes on interactions.
  • Securing Purchase Orders

    • Collaborate with school districts to understand their purchasing process and work towards obtaining purchase orders.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation and approvals are completed to close sales.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives

    • Provide insights and feedback to improve lead generation strategies and outreach processes.
    • Identify and recommend new opportunities for expanding Speech Time Fun’s reach and impact.
  • Achievement of Sales Goals

    • Set and work towards meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Qualify for performance-based bonuses by achieving defined sales objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication

    • Work closely with the Speech Time Fun team to align on messaging, resources, and sales strategies.
    • Share updates and insights from client interactions to support product and service improvements.
  • Utilizing LinkedIn for Business Development

    • Actively engage on LinkedIn to connect with potential leads, join relevant groups, and foster professional relationships.
    • Use LinkedIn as a platform to raise awareness about Speech Time Fun and its offerings.
  • Continuous Professional Development

    • Stay open to feedback and actively seek opportunities to refine skills and improve performance.
    • Stay informed about trends in education and sales to better serve potential clients.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Sales: Prior experience in sales or account management with a proven ability to achieve goals.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Articulate, persuasive, and approachable, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • Assertive and Organized: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Open to Feedback: A growth mindset and willingness to learn and refine strategies based on constructive input.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn: Experience using LinkedIn as a tool for lead generation and relationship building.
  • Preferred (Not Required): Familiarity with special education or speech-language pathology is a plus, but not essential.
